Large Abstract Wood Sculpture by Brain Wilsher

This is a large abstract sculpture formed from hardwood. It stands an impressive 78.5 cms high and is 44cms at its widest point.

Brian Wilsher was a self taught artist who was greatly influenced by the St. Ives School, his works have echos of Sir Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. Willshers work was exhibited successfully throughout the 1960s including five consecutive Royal Academy of Art Summer Shows. Circa 1960's.
